Today following worship , the Presbyterian Women will host the annual "Bean Lunch", a
mission funding project over and above regular giving. Entitled the "Birthday Offering", funds
raised will be sent to the National PW for use nationally and overseas. All (not just women this
time - YAY!) are invited to stay for this lunch. A free will offering of that which would be used as
a meal out is suggested. All come!

Prayer Request cards are available in the pews. Please fill them out and put them in the
offering plate, and Pastor will use them in today's prayer. Thank you!

The Adult Sunday School
meets every Sunday throughout summer, studying ''Things We Wish
Jesus Had Never Said". Each Sunday is independent of all others, so come when you can, at
9:30 each Sunday morning! All adults and "wannabe adults" are invited! Let's have some fun
together this summer!

A "Guy's" Group
meets the first Saturday of each month for study, fellowship, food and mutual
support. This meeting, held at 7:30am at La Casa in Jansen, is open to "guys" 16-100+ of this
church and the community. If you are interested, if you know someone who might be interested,
please invite them!

Habitat for Humanity is still seeking a volunteer contact coordinator from this congregation who
knows the people of the congregation simply to call members/friends when help is needed.
Later, anyone with various construction experience and/or interest can be called to help build a
house for a family which has none. Cooks for volunteer lunches will also be needed. If you can
help in any of these ways, please see Pastor Gary or Bob Land.

Pastor Gary is walking
to the office when weather, schedule make it possible.  Please be sure
to try the office door even if his car is not parked in its usual place at church.

Don't trash your aluminum cans! Recycle them by bringing them to church and placing them in the designated can outside the basement door. Revenue generated by recycling goes to help build Habitat for Humanity houses.
